Chief Macdonald Eze Anugwom (Nwatakwochaa 1 n’Orlu)

In memory of Chief Eze Macdonald Anugwom (aka Nwatakwochaa 1 n’Orlu or Kwocha for short), the Kwocha Foundation was created to continue the philanthropy efforts Chief Eze Anugwom did while he was alive in many communities in Nigeria to build a better Nigerian community.

Chief MacDonald Eze Anugwom until his death was a member board of trustee of Sommercy Heartfelt Foundation (SHF), a non-profit organization registered with cooperate affairs commission in Nigeria. He was one of the three brains behind the organization success as a front line Nigerian non-governmental organization (NGO). SHF became a member of the United Nation consultative status. SHF is also a member of the world association of NGO.

In 2011 SHF partnered with Enugu state ministry of women affairs and mobile telephone network MTN and distributed wheelchairs and tricycles to over 2000 individuals with disability across eleven states in the southeastern states of Nigeria.

In 2017 SHF was invited by the world bank group and international monetary fund [WBG/IMF] to a spring meeting in Washington DC, USA. Delegates of SHF who attended the WBG/IMF meeting were sponsored by Chief MacDonald Eze Anugwom.

Chief MacDonald Eze Anugwom has been involved in humanitarian efforts including scholarship programs, sports and competition sponsorships, protection of orphans and vulnerable children. He also provided platforms for engagement opportunities to improve the lives of widows and widowers through the widow organization international, a community-based organization.

The goal of the Kwocha Foundation is to improve partnership with these organizations and form additional collaborative opportunities with other organizations locally, nationally, and internationally to continue humanitarian efforts.

His magnanimity and presence will be missed by everyone in the community. The Kwocha Foundation will work to fill that void.
